NH’s Old Man of the Mountain to be repaired–with glass?
Princeton, NJ architect Francis D. Treves believes he has the fix for the crumbling Old Man of the Mountain landmark in New Hampshire–reconstruct it using 250 glass panels. So your idea to fix a granite rock formation that can’t stand up to the elements is to reconstruct it using a more fragile material. Reallllllly.

Sauce,
Let the “old man” gradually fade away and die in peace/piece as it has been for thousands of years. Trying to artificially repair him is only a temporary fix and is for your benefit, not his. It goes against the laws of nature. Remember:
“The past always looks better than it was because it isn’t here”.
As Neil Young sings, “Old Man, look at my life, I’m as young as you were”.
“Thinking is the best way to travel.”
Your own man.
